I, for one, am glad that they fixed the shuffling problem.

Amen.

There's still a bigger picture, but at least they addressed something.

Very good firmware update! This was the only issue I had with my Zune, the rest of it works perfectly, what I bought it for!

I use shuffle a lot and I noticed it did play almost the same thing over and over so hopefully this update fixed that.  Smiley

1. A lot of mumbo jumbo as always. this should have been 1.3.1. Next ?

Which means you either did not understand what I said, or agree fully and simply do not wish to acknowledge it Wink
Your gripe is with the ID of the firmware update, which is rather silly. Instead of being anal and nitpicky about numerical values and designations, try to simply be glad that the Zune is at least still getting updates, even if by rather small increments.

2. Look for any post around here from me. then comeback and tell ppl around here since when I need a clock on a DAP ?

Sarcasm dude. Try it, you might like it.

Why do I get the feeling that all people who are happy about these
so called firmware updates consist of 3/4's of the zune team while the rest of us , who look at this most recent disapointment are customers who want to get what they paid for and are pissed for a legitimate reason ,and that reason is we havent got what we WERE  promised. Look at PS3 I hate the product but how many updates has it gotten? ALL INCLUDING NEW FEATURES AS WELL AS NOTICIABLE CHANGES, not some shuffle update , this is seriously a joke, what does that fat lil bastard cesar actually do all day besides posting comments praising THIS ALL MIGHTY BRICK under psuedo names on blogs, if I didnt hate apple so much id buy an ipod , instead ill wait for a GOOD player to come out , and when it does , look forward to a video link from me when i post , and in that video you will see me + either an explosive, and hammer, or some VERY creative way of destroying this P.o.S hardware, in the mean time im thinking of a way to get cesar to come to my town and convincing him to bend over to I can insert it into his a$$, and say "here you chubby little bastard shuffle this....."

Call me a stickler, but I'm accustomed to the term Almighty, rather than all mighty  Tongue

If you didn't hate apple so much, you'd probably be one of those consumers that don't get overemotional about inanimate objects, and simply buy what suits you best.

I'm glad to see this update I noticed a patter in this so called "shuffle" feature, or just figured my zune liked certian songs

I also welcome this, I had begun to think my zune had a thing for Weezer songs, I know Bill is a Weezer fan, but my zune was playing a Weezer song once every 9 or 10 plays and that was just too often considering I have close to 5000 songs on my zune.

Yea; wurd on the update. I keep my Zune on shuffle while driving, I use shuffle a lot and there definitely was repetitiveness in the shuffle. More is better, this is an ok update. Remember this was only a firmware update not a software update as well so i'm not trippin.  Smiley

Think about it guys and gals.

Sure, this update only includes a fix on the shuffle, but what else does it do?
It puts to rest the rumor about wireless downloading from wifi spots.
Remember this?

So yes, this is a crappy update, but now we know the truth about the rumored wifi downloading from the marketplace.
