Hi !
I would like to introduce TXT2JPG.  Smiley
It's a software I made converting your txt/rtf/doc/pdf/lrc files to jpg.
Once you get your pictures, you send them to your Zune..and you read !  Roll Eyes

Picture on an other player (a ZVM) :

(Text size is adjustable  Wink )

Feel free to post-back your opinion !

This is awesome. I have oh so many ebooks and it would be great to read them in spare moments when I'm out.

How do I make it so that the orientation is portrait instead of landscape? I choose "Zune Reverse" in the profile settings which is 240x320 instead of 320x240 and I still get landscape photos.

Pretty neat program though.

Simply choose Zune, not Zune reverse...

Your picture will be 320height*240width, which is Zune size !
"Zune reverse" is for advanced use...

but wanted the opposite the tall way....i'll mess around with it a bit more I'm prolly just not seeing the setting for it

A great source for free modern Science Fiction e-books is the BAEN free library:
http://www.baen.com/library/

They support multiple file formats.  RTF is one of them so TXT2JPG should support it.

RTF is one of them so TXT2JPG should support it. =>Yes, you can already read rtf files with TXT2JPG.

I release v22, cause some people report having problem with the Comdlg32.ocx.

...And a lots of minor update : you can add picture with drag and drop, speeding up app, less memory use ...

Have fun !

Anyway to get the Zune to remember the image you were last viewing prior to powering off?

Reading a 200 jpg book is kind of hard if each time you go into it you have to push next next next a hundred times.

You give me an idea : i'll work on it.
You write a split-word, "Chapter" for example.

Each time the text contain this word, it will save the picture in another folder, so you'll have
[Title of the book]
[Title of the book]\[Chapter 1]\ Pictures of chapter 1
[Title of the book]\[Chapter 2]\ Pictures of chapter 2
[Title of the book]\[Chapter 3]\ Pictures of chapter 3
[Title of the book]\[Chapter 4]\ Pictures of chapter 4
...

You will not have "to push next next next hundred times".

That's done !  Wink
You now have a checkbox in the 'Advanced options'
You write the word you want "to split" (CHAPTER, for instance), and you click on start.
That's done.

I'll upload this new file thursday.
