I got a little surprise when I came into work today, I bunch of the Zunes where already out on the shelves! Some overnight worker had put them out on the shelves! Luckly I was the only one in the dept in the morning, so I grabbed one of our display cameras and snapped some shots. After I took the pics I put them back in the stockroom, sorry to disappoint those wanting a little pre-sale       ::Update:: When I went in to work today the Zunes where back on the shelves! I pulled them once more, lets see if they stay this time. |

That looks awsome. Were you aloud to open it up? just curious. You should have taken the zune out and shot the back side of it. The stills look cool |

The stills look cool It does look very nice, especially the new 'reverse double-shot', until that ridiculous amount of wasted space surrounding the LCD is exposed upon powering it on... Understand, I do like the player, I just wish that MS had not claimed that the Zune flash was to have a screen that utilized some 2/3 of the front of the player's front surface. a HUGE LET DOWN! |

but why you didnt turn it on?...damn. it says "hold play" turn it on. and show the GUI and pre-loaded content.
Cover the serial number before someone takes it.

The stills look cool a HUGE LET DOWN! very true i mean i dont think it is a huge let down but thier approach with it could have been implemented better. you have a old device (30) that hardly had a border and the new 80 doesnt have one, so why not utilize the same for the flash? i think becuase they still wanted battery life to be a factor with a small device life a flash player and making the screen a little bigger can eat the battery life. just my 2 cents It does look very nice, especially the new 'reverse double-shot', until that ridiculous amount of wasted space surrounding the LCD is exposed upon powering it on... But ya ... that black border is ab-sol-ut-ley HIDEOUS
(EDIT: Even if the screen filled in the whole black border, that'd still be <50% of the player. 2/3 my ass)
