But remember 360 games are on DVDs not HD-DVDs and soon enough some 3rd party company will make a blu-ray player that connects with the 360.

That would take Microsoft making it connectible, and let people watch HD Content that isnt HD DVD, so i doubt it.

Well I doubt that HD DVD is dead yet, and yes there are hardware hackers but I havent even seen a third party Wi-Fi adapter. And MS will just monitor for it like they do for modchips, and disconnect those Xboxes from live.

Possible, but companys flip back and forth every once in a while, like the article talks about them flipping to blu-ray but they could always come to their senses and flip back.

No man blu-ray is better just like beta max but Sony didn't market that product too well and VHS won.

Sony has i think 5 times as much memory on one disk. It can support higher def than 1080p. (God forbid if there comes a time)

But the lasers that are able to read/write that fine from what i have read are problematic, because the have to be insanely accurate and fine. And the HD DVD players have ethernet ports, so they can be updated, and could prolly support more than 1080 P , whereas blu ray players dont so they have to upgrade the player anytime the technology changes a little, except for the PS3.
