Does anybody know what ********** is?? and if u do can you send ********** videos to your Zune?
What does the regular zune packaging come with??
Is it worth buying?
What is the differece between all the diffferent colors?
Is there any problems with the ZUne?
Where can i buy it if you live in Atlanta?
Anything i need to know pelase reply PLEASE!!!

What is with the ************!?!??!?! im guessing i know and it got either bleeped out or you didn't write it?Huh?Huh?

The packaging comes with the sync cable, headphones, and the manuals... I think it comes with the disc to upload the software to your computer....

Difference in colors? umm.... whatever color you want get? :\ in models though there are size differences and the original 30's do not have the zune pad... the new ones have a touch pad

You can buy a zune ANYWHERE basically... best buy, walmart, target, circuit city, radio shack... or online...

I had bought the 30g zune back in late June.  Finally, just this month, (late Oct), my zune would freeze.  it wouldnt shut down mind u, and, having just updated the software, and with it fully charged, it was freezing as soon as one song ended or when i tried playing another mp3. After a few seconds, the screen would dim.  I could see that its still frozen on the last album i was listening too but it wouldnt respond at all no matter what i did.  I tried holding down the power button to reboot and nothing.  I would go back home (being half way to the gym, really annoying, that part) and plug it back in and nothing.  all the while again i can still see thru the dimmed screen the last song i was playing before the freeze.  after enough time, the battery would finally die and i would be able to plug it back in.  It would recharge and work for a short while (couple hours at best) before doing it all over again.

So finally, i took it back to best buy and had geek squad have a look at it.  Given it was well past my 30 day return policy, the only way they would be able to replace it for me would be if geek squad and/or the manufacturer (i.e. Microsoft) deemed it was not repairable or worth making the effort to try a repair.  The techie gave it a good once over and decided then and there that i would need a new unit.

Two problems.  First, they discontinued the 30g.  but that actually granted me an automatic upgrade to the 120g.  But the second problem was that they only had 2 previously opened boxes for the 120g.  Being assured they were just fine, i grabbed the newer looking of the two.  Later that day, it exhibited the same exact problem as the other one.

Thus, they have now ordered me a brand new 120g unit which i can expect in lil over one week.  So lets see how this goes.  I'm getting a brand new 120g, having paid for a 30g, courtesy of best buy, not microsoft.  But what good will 120g do me if it doesnt work yet again?

Anyone experience anything similar to this or have any suggestions on what this might be tied to?   Huh? Cry
There! thats what happened to mine right before it decided to start auto rebooting itself. i cant even get it to stay on long enough to get past the firmware update.

I broke down in tears when it wouldnt update.
I really love zunes but this is seriously getting out of hands.
If your new one doesnt work are you getting an iPod? (Im thinking about it)

eaglesfan you're quoting a 2 year old post, I really doubt that person is still seeking those answers but kudos anyways  Wink

I'm hoping Microsoft finally fixes this problem since they never addressed the rebooting issue to begin with. The 3.0 update bugs could get this issue resolved for us. Apparently unexpected bugs will get ignored problems fixed.

I've got a 30gb zune and firmware 3.1 on it.  The thing rebooted on me three times in an hour one morning at work.  I thought the restarts were caused by movement because its only happened to me when I'm on the move.  I drained the battery, recharged it, and started carrying it in my back pocket and it hasn't happened again since then.  [crosses fingers]

Currently looking for a good home for my Gateway "Vista Ready" PC.

I am having the same problem everyone else is having.  It just shuts off on it's own. Huh?

I live in florida(not very much static) and this has been happening to me ever since I got my zune at the beginning of summer.
I have been using standard ipod headphones because I lost the zune ones. Whoever said that the headphones draw too much power from the battery, i think your wrong because this happens to me even if I have the volume all the way down or if the headphone aren't even plugged in.
This problem also occurs when I plug it in to my car radio.
It happens on hold and off hold.
It definately happens 20x more when the charger is in the zune(whether it is plugged into computer or not).
But whenever I have it charging all night, then try listening to it with charger plugged in, let it mess up and reboot, then unplug the charger, and the zune will work all day!
That is what I have been doing for a few months now.
