i if you have a pc that can run it i'd recommend getting gears of war on the pc, mainly because it's got like an exclusive act or something like that.
yeah i got it for pc, but it keeps crashing somewhere around halfway through the game so ive never beaten it... |

Old School: Conker for n64, teddybears vs. squirrels for multi.
Conker rocked! You are my new best friend for remembering it.  Yeah, I know, thread's been dead for a bit, but I had to agree with Conker, lol. Currently, though, BF2142 is my favorite. Been playing Combat Arms lately, too. It's nothing special, but it's darn good fun (and free). |

There's several games in the poll that I love, like Halo and Timesplitters. But I feel that the best of all time is the original Perfect Dark on N64. Even now, I still pull out the ol' N64 a couple times a year and play it. Though it's a shame it had such a horrible sequel.

went for counter-strike.. played a lot of that... for more fast paced action I'd go for unreal tournament, and single player would be gears of war for the fun to play it even if it's not really a 1st person shooter.

Halo for me, I love the online and multiplayer and it has good single player campaigns.
My next favorite would be Gears of War, the only problem I have with the first one was it was kinda short. But it was the only shooter I've ever beat on the hardest difficulty
