Never had a problem, worked quite smoothly. well actually one problem is that now the software is a little laggy but my computer is really touchy about software and could be pitching a fit *sigh* Wish vista was more like zune software.

Anyway i hope it clears up soon. its not bad but noticeable

I had numerous uninstall and install problems at first (never had any with previous software updates).  I had to use UnZoone to uninstall Version 2.5, but even after doing this, I still could not get Version 3.0 to install, even after downloading the full 125MB install package.  In order to finally get the Zune software to install, I had to turn on the Windows Firewall (not sure why), a technique I saw in the Technical Support forum.  Worked flawlessly when I did that.

I only had to do this a coupleof times in the beginning to get my zune to see the new software to update the firmware. unplug it, and plug it in a couple times.

oh man, it would take me an hour to explain everything i tried.

uninstalling/redownloading and installing the zune.

trying to hard reset to zune, to no avail, and if you know how let me know.

uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers w/ help from customer service.

the guy had to put me on hold for 10 minutes to talk to his tech supervisor professional guy or whatever, and said that they're still unsure why the drivers aren't working correctly, but by that time i was 4 hours into trying to get this thing fixed, and i still hadn't eaten dinner.  i was in a REALLY bad mood last night, i think i made my wife mad too Sad
