Loved it since I layed eyes on it.

I despise IPod and the Zune is just so perfect for me. Especially the courteous free updates.

What service has updates you have to pay for?

I have had mine since July of 2007. It has never let me down. How can we not be satisfied with the original zune when we are getting most if not all the new features the new Zunes are getting? Thanks MS for not ignoring the good old 30. : )

I think the original Zune 30s were the best built.  If only they would release like Zune Retro special edition 120s which have the body of a 30, but the hdd of the 120 and the Zune pad.

cant agree more!id be the first to pre-order.

How can you say the economy sucks right now and then in the same thought say that you are buying a $500 gun or bike?  Do you see how that kinda conflicts with each other?

What does one have to do with the other?  The economy does indeed suck but there are still people out there making money.

I'm a thrifty spender and my job isn't exactly the best. I just work hard and save, and sometimes I buy myself nice toys to occupy myself while others blow their cash clubbing, drinking, and doing other stuff like that. I have been wanting to buy a handgun for awhile now, and a lot of my friends from work like to shoot on the weekends. However, I'm a very physical person (went from 225, 38" waist, to 152, 28" waist, 4% body fat) and I love to do fun things that leave me sweaty and tired. So I am faced with a choice to make. If  I were a lot wealthy, I'd buy both and not worry about it. I'm a 24y/o working class male, so no luck Sad.
P.S. The Zune was a gift for my last birthday, or I might not have it now...

I could care less how the economy is in this topic. Want to talk about it, go to the politics forum.

Back on topic.

Easy solution:
1. Buy the Glock.
2. Use Glock to knock off a few liquor stores. Run like hell after the robbery to get your exercise.
3. Use money from liquor store hold-ups to buy bike.

You get your toys and your exercise. Simple.

ROFLMAO! I went ahead and bought a Gary Fisher Wahoo today after firing my friend's Glock and shotgun for a couple hours at the range. I figured I'd take less crap from my g/f (and mom) if I bought the bike, and my g/f bought a Trek 4300 so she can ride with me. Glock will have to wait a little bit (maybe)... Back to the main topic now Cheesy.

I still like my black 30GB. Bought it off Woot as a refurb just before the new models came out. It mostly sits in a Zune dock connected to the stereo. I use it all the time as a jukebox.

My only complaint is the 30GB drive is too small to hold my whole collection. I wish I could use the wireless feature and stream audio to the thing, like a Squeezebox. I just bought a Squeezebox and I'm waiting for it to show up. I suspect it will replace my Zune, but I know I'm going to miss the album artwork on the Zune.
