Good question. Where do we get one? Huh?

If they're $300, I'll prepay right now for mine. For $400, I'd want to have sat. radio capability.

Package it with an Xbox360 & Halo3 this Christmas for under $700, and I'd predict a Zune shortage! Grin

Same was said about Atari, when Famicom(Nintendo) hit the scene.
Same was said about Nintendo when Sony released the PS.
Subway was never expected to outnumber McDonalds 10 years ago, but look at them now.

only time will tell. Honestly though, since Apple has just lowered prices and increased storage/batt. life, iPod is still a contender. We already have seen in just the past week, zune prices rumoured as low as 229.00 in response - for this I want to thank Apple, since I plan on buying a zune anyways.

Ironically, if Apple kept iPod prices higher this Christmas, zunes would debut at a higher price, probably disuading potential buyers. Besides, Apple has all the price points covered.
And I thought that Apple wasn't worried about the zune.  Wink

I think it will be a hot one but no shortage this time around. It's not like the Xbox where demand is strong. They have a lot of work to do against Apple which is why they have dropped the price so low. They want to sell units on this device and establish a base of users. I don't think we'll see any shortgages
