Error code C00D124F

Ok, I spent over a month online looking for a solution to this problem.  Tried every remedy you can think of from  the using a different comp, to reset formatting the zune, to keep on hitting the install button (must have done it atleast 100 times) but my zune software is still giving the error message C00D124F which means there is not enough space on the hard drive.

My question is, if i were to purchase a 30gb harddrive (or a 60gb, yea i know i have to modify it) on ebay, would that solve the problem?  or can it be a mother board issue?

I tried calling zune, and since its out of warrenty they want $130 to fix the 30gb zune when I can add an extra $120 and purchase a 120gb zune or ipod for $250.  I tried to see from them if it is a hardrive issue or an mother board issue twice but the rep simply stated its a firmware issue... Go figure.

Same problem.  BRICKED.  80 gig device and now it says it only has 1 gig and will not update the firmware because of this... joy joy joy... Just in time for the holiday season so I can purchase a new one.  I think there is a conspiracy afoot...
