hmmm...im not really sure where to go from there then...i would still give calling support a try and asking around...or going through MS.com and looking for help and support there...other then that...you said you tried disconnecting the battery...have you tried unhooking the Hard Drive and reconnecting it? not sure what that will do, so dont take my word on it, but from what ive read, if you disconnect the harddrive and battery, its does like a hard reboot and you might be able to work up from there...but again, dont take my word for it on that, and try support first...
