Not to argue with anyone, but Microsoft does use 3rd party survey companies on a near constant basis.

I don't know if this is the same e-mail I received in early 2008, but I know I did do one for Zune where I did in fact receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

Actually scratch that....I just searched through my e-mail box (I keep almost everything from companies) and just verified both the survey e-mail received, and the fact that I did indeed receive an Amazon gift code for it.

This is not a scam.

I can post screenshots if you'd like.

If its not a scam, then the writer needs to learn how to write, and the letter "i" isnt an exclamation point.

Also, when he says youll recieve an Amazon GiftCard, why does he put a "?" mark after it? Hes not sure???

As I said...I personally did this survey last year...and received and used the Amazon card.

The company doing the survey IS a Microsoft contracted survey vendor.

You are getting a copy/pasted version of the text.

Ini the actual e-mail there's not a question mark, but one of the R symbols with a circle around it.

Also noting terms with i, ii, and iii is actually fairly common in e-mails.

It means 1, 2, and 3.

As I stated in my previous reply to you though, this is a perfectly legitimate survey and I'm more than willing to post up screenshots of both my original e-mail and the one giving me the gift card if anyone wishes.

Actually it didn't.

They are still e-mailing people on occasion to gather opinions on Zune.

The original e-mail offer did indeed expire, but every so often another marketing push sends these out again.
