It was a govt. issued warning. It must be true. At least until the Govt get's their hands on a share of the profits generated by fans and air conditioners. Then well, the report would be much different wouldn't it?
Anyway, don't laugh too hard. There's lots of crap the U.S. Govt. tells it's citizens and most of them are rediculous enough to believe it. Hell, the U.S. Govt. has ran using this easy to create deception since the beginning.
I'll bet there are at least 10 things that the average U.S. Citizen, even if well-educated, believes beyond a shadow of a doubt to be true, but in reality, couldn't be farther from the truth. Why is this so?
Because most people can't handle the truth. Plain and simple. They need to be told, and they need to believe it, regardless of the reality. Why do you think the Bible is so popular? Think about it.

oh, and it's only about 5,000 years old too. Must have been easy to believe before any evidence to the contrary was discovered. C'mon, I've been at sea, I can actually see the curve of the earth, making it obvious to me that it is far from flat. Hell, you can even see it on land in a few places such as Long Beach, WA. But with no concept of gravity, a spherical Earth makes no sense, so in spite of what your eyes are telling you, it's easy to deny it. I'm obviously not the only one. Many people believed in the spherical nature of the earth thousands of years before it was "official". If they talked about it publicly, they were executed.
Sometimes, I feel like a mushroom. They (the govt.) keep me in the dark and feed me bullship.

Yeah, well, I took it easy for the past 6 months. I didn't have to work at all and still took home $225 a week. That's all about to end. Starting tuesday, I'm working every day for about 8 weeks before going to a 5 day work week. On the positive side, I'll be taking home about $12,000 in 8 weeks. But man, do I get tired!

I didn't get to sleep in this summer and now it's almost a new semester. Sigh.
Fan-death, Loch Ness monster, God, Bloody Mary, Indigo Children... Lump them all together, I say! Urban myth. This is a funny one, though.
