It seems that when I am listening to HD radio outside I get more channnels, but when I go inside a building the HD channel disapears and I can't hear it anymore. Is anyone else having this problem?

The signal weaken as you go inside. Just like a cell phone in the back of a grocery store. Although it is odd you only get fewer channels and not drop them all. They said HD Radio is similar to Satellite radio in the fact that you don't get static and what have you if you lose signal. It just drops the station all together.

You are right. It does drop and goes to regular radio. Man I wish I was able to listen to it here at work(it's a big building)

I assume the earphone cord is the antenna? If so try an earphone extension cord and see if that helps. In fact I will try that myself tonight (I have a 6' cord) to see if I can pull in more then 2 or 3 stations.

One thing to keep in mind - is that it won't drop the station - but will switch to analog.  I'm not sure what the signal strength needs to be keep the HD going versus simply analog.
