I have a Samsung camcorder that has its own software to edit the videos which is awafully very basic. It's the Cyberlink Media Show 4 and it does not have any effects, transitions, nore titles and credits something that I want to use when I edit my movies taken.

Unfortunately, Windows Movie Maker does not support the format of my Samsung which is MPG4.
I searched on the Internet for any plug in (or whatever is called) for Windows Movie Maker to convert the files from MPG4 to WMV and I cannot find any!

 1) Is there a video converter that you know and use (easy one) so I could use the Windows Movie Maker that I like so much?

 2) Do I need perhaps to to upgrade the Cyberlink Media Show 4 to a better one? I am lost at the site ( http://www.cyberlink.com/products/mediashow/overview_en_US.html ) I am lost here.

Please help me since next month I am off to my country and I want to use my Samsung camcorder?

Thank you
