Only if you keep your old $14.99 plan (not available to new subscribers). The new $9.99 plan drops the 10 free tracks per month.

It's the first step of their awkward attempt to sunset the subscription part of the service.

Does this mean the full marketplace is coming back to Canada?
What was the point of removing it for like.. a year?

Think its available here in Australia, but i'm not interested.
I like to own music without being forced to use a Microsoft device.

^Me to. Not to mention being forced to listen to that music with the pass only.

Wow.... I have officially dumped my support for Zune. I have been using my Zune and a $14.99/mo Zune Pass for over 3 years now. I had to cancel my subscription and uninstall the software after finding no solution to a 0x80070656 error when trying to upgrade. After plunging back in to the Microsoft Support forums (despite being utterly useless with all the other MS-supported canned replies), I stumbled on a quick and easy fix. Went to "renew" my pass and got met with the only option of $9.99 and no 10 tokens. Those tokens were my only justification to keep the pass. Since Microsoft has made no attempt to integrate the Zune into car audio systems, I still use my old first gen iPod Nano in my car. I kept it loaded up with the MP3s that I get by using my ZP tokens, but I guess I have no more reason to waste my money on the pass. Getting all the music was cool, but it was a convenience factor more than anything. Now I have to bend over backwards to get these files into my car (where I listen to music 95% of the time), and will no longer be a ZP subscriber unless somehow they can grandfather me back into the $14.99 plan. Anyone have a direct email to Zune Customer Service?

Sorry to say they won't grandfather you back into the 14.99. In fact I don't think current ZP users were grandfathered. They cut out the 10 free songs becaue they slashed the price of the pass in half and probably licensing issues.. The fastest way to reach zune support is on twitter @zunesupport here is a live chat with a service rep https://support.live.com/default.aspx?productkey=oepzunecf&ct=chatts

If I can't get the tokens (as in that plan has officially ended) then I have no need for a ZP anymore. Shame. :/
I guess it can't hurt to shoot them a tweet, but I'm not holding my breath.

My primary use was the tokens. In fact, that was the selling feature that got me to get a ZP originally. I have a hard time justifying paying for something I couldn't keep, and the fact that I can't listen to any of my music without an active subscription bothers me. I see better value in paying 15$ and keeping 10 songs than paying 10$ and not keeping anything.
