This is my first time posting. I came across this message board while looking for some answers for my zune.  I currently have 2 problems that have been going on for a long while that I have not been able to resolve and I hope Zunescene can help.

Problem:

1.)  I have multiple playlists listed on my zune device that are no longer in the zune software.  These playlists do not play when I click on them and I do not know how to get them off my zune handheld.

2.)  The backlight on the screen does not turn off.  If I change any of the display settings, it will correct the issue but only for a week or two until it happens again.  For the last many years, I have just been toggling the display from 1 sec to 5 sec or vise versa.  I have had a zune80 and a zune120 and both of them have this problem.

Thanks in advance for you help and suggestions.

1. sync your device to the software. select the device tab, select playlists, delete playlists.

2. only thing I can think of it to do wipe the zune and reset it. sounds more like a hardware problem, might just have to live with it.

Thanks for the suggestions, however, I have done both those.
The playlists no longer appear in the software but are still on the zune device.  Wiping the zune is what created the playist error when I resynced to it.  Somehow my entire library got messed up during the reverse sync and I had to start from scratch.
