umm... well...
you contact your ISP... get your news server, then you find a good news reader
then you search for a group for stuff you want
like
"alt.binaries.pc.games" or something like that
and in there there will be prolly millions of headers theyre called
and you select to download each of the headers (one show could be a few hundred headers or so)
then you combine all the files with alzip to get the file you wanted

and ya rly, we go to school together

but yeah, once you got it set up, its extremely easy :p

and downloading at your max speed 100% of the time pretty much makes it worth it

and usenet has EVERYTHING in it...
even more than BT

Yeah.  LOL@PeTA

okay...usenet summary:
Every ISP [should have/]has news servers.  These news servers rarely contain news.  They have headers of files that you download directly from them using a newsreader client.  There are news servers all over the internets and basically, since you're downloading the files from a server instead of downloading them from individual users, the downloads go a LOT faster, and you usually get your maximum downstream speed when downloading from a news server since it's a server and not an individual user.  You can find just about ANYTHING on usenet.  Music, movies, tv shows, games, programs, pr0n, etc.  If you can't find it on the usenet somewhere, chances are it either doesn't exist, or you're never gonna be able to find it anywhere else.

The reason I said should have is because my ISP doesn't have one.  It makes me really sad too.  When I asked them for information about their news server, they told me "we do not have a news server.  We recommend using Yahoo! News or MSN News."  I loled and T_Ted at the same time.

It plays music and videos and all but the loading circle won't go away.  Grin
